a Lucky Tree,
plain and simple
like pineapple stem
those ubiquitous green leaves
and slender stems
easy to bend
leaning against or needing support

YOU

because of the belief
money comes in through you
loved by those who love money
popular tree

for too long
not bringing money
you have grown old
one day
you ended up in the ******* bin

Such a you, a rotten you
bring it to
trimmed and pruned
and wash you clean
in a nutritious ***
replanted

as the days go by
you are withering away
but all the good fortune
until now
accumulated on you
are disappearing
more shining than money
Luck comes to me

shall I save you?
