They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Beauty.

When I behold your figure in my mind’s eye I want to burst into flames

Consumed
Engulfed
by the fire of my desire

I wish my eyes could feast on the radiant glow which emanates from your figure once more

Beauty.

I behold your figure in my mind’s eye, yet I have to wonder if my figure is ever in your mind’s eye

Consumed
Engulfed
By the flames of my desire yet I am never the object
The recipient
My figure is never in someone’s mind’s eye

Beauty.

Is that what I lack ?
Or am I destined to be the beholder and not the beholden

Beauty?
