Late at night, the stars still shine,
But without you, Mom, they're not as bright.
The house feels quiet, cold, and bare,
Wishing every day that you were here.
Your smile, your laugh, they filled the space,
Now it's just memories I can't erase.
Behind those walls, you're far away,
But in my heart, you'll always stay.
I dream of hugs, of holding tight,
Wishing you'd come home tonight.
Letters can't replace your voice,
But loving you is still my choice.
No matter how far or how long you're there,
I’ll keep you close, in every prayer.
One day, I know, you’ll walk through the door,
And we’ll be together, forever more.
