Slip away,
But I will notice,
I won’t show it,
You’ll think I’ll never know,
But I’ll know,
You’ll leave me too,
And I won’t say it,
But I know it.

I’m chaotic,
Much to my disliking,
But I’m jumbled,
Like the pieces of a puzzle,
You can’t fix it back,
That’s the new thing,
You’ll lose hope,
And leave it.

You’ll leave,
I’ll walk on,
You’ll think I forgot you,
But I won’t,
I just want to think I forgot you,
You’ll leave me too,
And I won’t say it,
But I know it.
