I wake up everyday
Rush through the newspaper
Looking for my name in the obituaries
None is found.
Thank God I'm alive
So i pray.

My day begins
And at the end
I'll count my blessings
Sure to overcome
whatever challenge
That i will meet.

I've got to study
To enrich myself with knowledge
Socializing makes me feel loved and wanted
I also have to pray
To develop and maintain personal relationship with God

Work is part of me
Because I need strength
And when all is done
I lay down to rest from the weariness
The cycle continues
Till destiny takes its course.
