i feel entitled to something that was never mine,
but you made me feel- which is new to me
i don't think it was love, but something of the sort
around you my stomach inverted, my chest did the opposite
palms damp and unsteady, but eyes wide open to let you in
if you could see me now,
you have my heart but you never had me
