She never forgets your birthday, always buys you a thoughtful present
She's the hostess with the mostess
every time you go to visit
She's reeling you in, mascarading as a friend
She's gathering ammunition, it's a means to an end
Her venomous remarks seep like poison through your veins
When her words cut you deep, she's tallying up her gains
But your soul feels unsettled, your gut instinct never lies
For this person that you trusted, is a foe in disguise
