A Love Letter to the Moon

You’ve watched me through heartaches, each tear that I’ve cried,
As the world spins around, I’ve felt lost and small,
In your gentle embrace, I confide,
Sharing secrets of longing, the rise and the fall.

When laughter fills the air and love feels so near,
I glance at you, shining with radiant grace,
You cradle my dreams, whispering sweet cheer,
But in your stillness, I see a lonely face.

In the warmth of your glow, memories unfold,
Moments of passion, of love pure and true,
Yet shadows remind me of stories untold,
Of times when I learned, and my heart felt asked.

Each night, you remind me of the love I still seek,
A connection so deep, though miles stretch between,
In your presence, I find both the tender and break,
A heart intertwined with the hopes of a dream.

O Moon, you illuminate paths I must tread,
With your cycles of change, you teach me to bend,
Through laughter and longing, the words left unsaid,
You hold my desires, my confidant, my friend.

In the quiet of night, as the world drifts away,
I reach for your light, feeling loved and alive,
Though distances part us, come what may,
In your luminous glow, my spirit will thrive.

So here in this letter, with each heartfelt line,
I send you my love, both bitter and sweet,
O Moon, my eternal, you’re forever divine,
In the tapestry of life, our hearts softly meet.
