I visited my mother
She was not well

Her eyes sent me
Strong vibrations of love

I hugged her
Brought too close

She whispered
"I am well
Don't get so worried
I am waiting for a call
I know I will sleep peacefully"

Next early morning
She woke me up in hurry
Opened her sacred book
It was enveloped in cover

Took out few notes
Kept in my hand

I denied by saying
"I am earning more than enough"

Her eyes rolled down few tears
She tried to hide and was saying
"Daughter has mother home till she is live

No one gives so affectionately as I
No one loves so dearly as I
No one waits so eagerly as I"
