Your eye
Is the reason why hopes die,
Why souls melt
So look in the mirror,
You’ll know how I felt

Your smile,
Leaves a trace so vile,
The sticks and stones of my shame
Bringing me down,
Away from the game
I’m hitting the ground,
For you never gave me a bonus round

So tell me, love,
Did I ever matter?
Or was I just another heart to shatter?
Looking up at the sky,
It’s your face that I find
But wait!
It’s all in my mind

Your hands,
The shields that hid my fears,
Pushed me away,
Another test subject for tears
I wanna forget you oh so bad,
But then I remember
All the blood you made me shed

Come back, honey,
Bring me down for good;
Walking along the hallways of my despair,
I don’t wanna get up again
You don’t have to say a single word
It’s enough to give me a look
And I’ll be let off the hook

You were the beginning,
You will be the end
I said I’d heal,
Who did I kid?
Well done, love,
You took another soul!
This is my train
To bury my brain
See you in hell.
