My heart
Was like the troubled fields
Where crickets cried
All night long
I find my self
Trapped
In a ruined house
With shreds of
Broken dreams
The haunting silence
Of the streets
Etched with a thousand
Moist footprints
Felt like the
Wanderer's endless path
Whirring
Into the afterlife.
At this moment
I disentangled myself
From the trivialities
Of life
And freely–
Freely I
Embraced
The freedom lurking
Behind the
Darkness
