Beneath the waves where sunlight fades,
A little girl in coral glades,
She twirls and spins with graceful ease,
Among the swaying ocean trees.

Her dress of bubbles, soft and bright,
Catches the shimmer of the light.
With every step, the sand does swirl,
In the deep blue depths, the ocean’s pearl.

She leaps with dolphins, light as air,
Her laughter ripples everywhere.
The fish all stop to watch her play,
As starfish guide her waltz’s way.

The seaweed bows, the shells applaud,
The gentle current, her silent god.
In every twist, in every turn,
The ocean floor begins to learn—

That joy can bloom beneath the sea,
Where little girls can still dance free,
Among the treasures, wild and pure,
In a world untouched, in dreams secure.

She dances on, both wild and free,
A tiny dancer, beneath the sea.
I thought about this poem from the song
