Mouth missed with every sip
Stains on a new jumper
Runs sprinting down a stocking leg
Bruises painting shins and knees
Always tripping up the stairs
Falling down the path
Doorways you can’t help but clip
Wobbling in every heel

Wishing you could just walk straight
But tripping, stumbling, stained and bruised
A clumsy but beautiful life
