Feeling the familiar comforts of loneliness.
The cold tentacles of despair
masquerading as peace.
Squeezing the light out of the heart; leaving it cold and barren
of love.
Lying in the fetal position
soaking in the darkness
drowning in music.
sometimes
loneliness feels like love.
