I will hold you in my memory,
like the mountains hold the scars of a glaciers path.

I could never fill the void you left with ice and snow.
So I'll open up the windows and let the sunshine melt away the cold.

These memories of your laughter, your smile, the softness in your voice when you said
'I love you.'
Will weigh me down no more.

I will build of them a sturdy ship.
One to carry me on the waves of sweet reminders to distant shores.
