Hold me still,
enclose me,
against your skin,
warming me like a blanket

I’m cold,
out of control,
shivers burst beneath my spine,
bones,
firm and strong,
feel weak in time

Who will carry me,
future me,
me as in a girl…
who can’t even see a week.

Frantic i am,
uncertain about it,
what feels like an unraveling curtain,
this girl is hurtin’
buried,
in her desertion.
