I’ll consume my own heart and eat it whole.
So there’s nothing there for you to hold.
For you to protect then break into shards.
A treasure of my love,I left you to guard.
I’ll destroy it myself , just so you can’t.
Dry up the river so there’s no seeds to plant.
Carve out my eyes so you can’t see into my soul.
I’ll consume my own heart, and eat it whole.
Despite your own hunger I won’t cave the best part.
I have no wish to be devoured so I’ll eat my own heart .
