Welcome to the prison, sweet killer oh’ mine!
Seek your sunlight through the metal bars of those cold windows.
Did you meet the other ones? Did you recognize them?
Remember they used to be our friends.
Sometimes you can hear their screams, echoing behind the streets. They shout in vain.
Sometimes you can see their tears, draining down the walls. They drown in them.
They crave freedom and hope for liberty.
But in the end, what does hope do?
It only breeds eternal misery.
It makes you a hostage.
It deprives you of humanity.
Now you see?
