Rainy Season


Mother earth wore green sari,  
Grass flourished far and wide.

Trees overjoyed,
Flowers bloomed.

Cows grazing happily,
Calves jumping frequently.


Sun hides behind the cloud,
Rivers and streams swiftly flooded.

Lakes and reservoirs full until brim,
Countrymen/women see beautiful dream.

Streets and drains cleaned out,
Water everywhere seen throughout.

Beautiful rainbow appears in the sky,
Thunders sound makes so loud why?  


Holiday to school I like most,
With friends Plays paper boat.


Abundance crop grows knew no bound,
Joys people vehemently thanking God.
