when my body rots and all that’s left is my bones, i’ll nourish the earth and wildflowers will grow where i laid .
the breeze blowing through them will carry whispers of my love for you because i’ll never say it now.
the flowers will smell sweet but beneath that they’ll smell like you. like me. the maggots feasting on my rotting flesh will know you well as my body once did .
