She was exquisite,
standing alone in the depths of the forest.
Soul blossoming from within,
with a mystic glow.
Society tore her out.
A wild flower,
roots taken from the earth,
left to fade in front of the world.
Her color drained,
petals fell.
Society cried and wondering,
what happened;
to natural, unique
beauty.
