A default without the fault
Standing up and falling short
Thin walls built of all sorts
Feeling at ease, but not appeasingΒ what you want
Phantom limb,  an unaquainted kin
Lust at its peak, when it stops and your all in.
Running fast but not running thin.
Life would be better if I just had a friend.
