If I whisper
will you hear it
If I speak
will you hear it
If I plead
will you hear it
If I yell
will you hear it
If I scream
will you hear it

no

for all I emit, I am silent
with all I omit, I am compliant
you remain always strident
you are my pain, but I am not defiant
Am I insane or just aspirant?

still veiled
harder to conceal
how far I have derailed

take the wheel
I need to take the wheel

make me be heard
make me be seen

I will not be deferred
be my own Queen

If I tell you
will you hear it

I am worthy
I will not submit
