Find me
To encounter a turnaround
Sharper and deadlier
Than your betrayal

Allowing my whole being
To be powered by hate
For only then shall I save my soul
From getting snatched by you
For eternity

My brain is fighting this war in vain
Installing resentment as the rightful ruler
Of my spirit
Represents a feat bound to fail

All of a sudden, the mist clears
And you take back your place
Shining even brighter than I remember,
You take away my freedom of choice
In a split second, my last stand sits down
Approaches the chains, into their firm embrace
Existence adopts your shape
Forever

But until the capitulation,
In the face of the looming eclipse
I shall savor the fight;
Indulgence in the illusion of my salvation
Becomes my final earthly trace
