This Love is My Soul

This love is my soul,

This love is my life,

You don't understand me,

You cut it like a knife.

You don't understand me,

And so I live on,

I'm just a lonely girl,

I've done nothing wrong.

You insult me in ways,

You will never understand,

You say I need rifining,

You say I'm too bland.

You can never know,

The feelings I hold,

You would never have guessed,

You have made my heart cold.

Someone recently said that my poetry needed more thought and refining. Coincidently it was the person who is in most of my poems. This is dedicated to him.
