Oct 2013
you embraced my right side
your body flush against mine
shoulders down to ankles.
    your arm clutched my shoulders
    mine grasped your waist.
while my right remained
warm, loved, safe, whole
my left side was abandoned
icy, brittle, empty, broken.
now your presence has been gone
for a significant amount of time.
my right is perfectly fine.
my left is still aching for you.
