WHISPERED PROMISES
By a crackling fire, they stood,
whispering promises,
in a cream-white dress and lace,
a bouquet of flowers nearby.
Gazing into the otherβs eyes,
they recited their love troths,
and began their adventure,
with a simple βI do".
