If I could...
If I could go back in time....
I would give a big hug to each person that has ever talked to me...
Even if just strangers that perhaps only asked for directions on the street...
Even if they yelled at me...
Or smiled at me...
Or close friends...
It does not matter....
Everyone has a history...
And everyone needs a hug...
If I could go back in time...
I would listen to their stories...
Poetry is based on human experiences...
I can't go back in time...
And I can't hug all of them...
Maybe they don't even want my hugs...
But I can write these words...
And blow them to the wind...
Hoping they will reach people...
And hug their spirits...
I am here for you...
Even if I don't know you...
I will always be here for you...
Even if you are a stranger,  strangers are friends who we have never known...
Big hug for you...
