My love is like a play on a screen,
Because everything seems scripted,
My love life, a Cinderella story—
One shoe fitted, but no foot ever fits.

My tale differs; there’s no perfect match,
A love story like an unsolved millennium problem.
I’m a king, full of passion,
Serving my purpose for a queen,
But she’s only ever there in my mind.

I’ve had many soulmates since I started out,
Yet they all seem to sell their souls.
It’s like I’m good at knowing a person,
But struggle to handle their traits.

I’m not a quitter, but this game is no longer funny; it’s painful.
Maybe it’s because I chase after beauty,
They say I love hard,
And that’s why they play me like a card.
