Dec 2023
Slow and steady, anticipation rising
Reaching the peak, crest before the dive, speed a bit halting
Then it comes, the fall
Speed and thrill jumps exponentially, a heart's quick leap
I can feel the wind, blood coursing through my veins
Eyes wide, widest they ever been
Smile on the face, widest it ever been
Few moments more, the frission has almost left
Smile still stays, leaving pleasantly, a memory evergreen
