You took my joy, left me in the dark,
I've forgotten how to make my own spark.
Once, I thought it was love, but now I see,
It wasn't love if it let you go free.

They call me selfish, label me naive,
But my heart's truth, I still believe.
If it could lie, I'd forget your name,
But thoughts of you are an endless flame.

They say, "Move on," like it's an easy task,
But your ghost lingers, a never-ending mask.
I've tried, and failed, I'm stuck in the past,
Memories of you, they always last.

Now you're far away, and I'm left behind,
In this world of longing, I'm lost, undefined.
