let me be

When the phone rings my heart jumps

Knowing that it could be you

Not knowing exactly what to do

Not sure I want to talk to you

Not really wanting to hear the truth

But I've got to deal with the fact

That you're never coming back

So your clothes I've gotta pack

Now there's a knock at the door

Before my feet hit the floor

I'm wondering what could be in store

My heart just can't take no more

Is it her? is she leaving?

Is she even ******* grieving

Does she even ******* care

If I'm even ******* breathing

If she did, she'd be here

losing her was my biggest fear

So tonight i shed a tear

Not for her but for me

I'm dying inside but you can't see

All the things you done to me

So please stay gone and let me be
