He was like a brother.
He would never disappear.

He could never love me.

I'm not bitter anymore
at the ones I knew forever
the ones I loved before.

All I know is
you never really know
the soul under the skin
when they keep it hidden.

And forever is a long time
to get to know someone
when they bare their soul
for you to break instead
if you so chose.
