I should have noticed something wasn’t right when you were crying all the time, over little things and couldn’t deal with long term commitments.
I should have noticed when you started pushing food around your plate and controlling portion size.
I should have noticed when you wore long sleeves during summer.
I should have noticed when medicine started disappearing.
I should have noticed when your friends stopped coming over and you started sitting by yourself.
I should have noticed when you cut your hair short stopped going to parties.
I should have noticed when you would have unexplainable bruises and cuts.
I should have noticed when teachers called with concerns and your attendance dropped with your grades.
I should have noticed when you started seeing a new boy every week and claimed to love them.
I should have noticed when you gave up.
I should have noticed before it was too late.
