World of your own
nobody else around
you're all alone
no one to be found.
If life wasn't so lonely
things would be okay
it's just you only
in this world today.
You want life to be great
while you're here
then you won't have to wait
shedding a tear.
Really what can you do
when you've tried everything
trying to see this through
sadness is what this'll bring.
Had this from the start
what could you do
knowing this was part
of life you have to live through.
Jesus can make things better
just ask him for his hand now
pray instead of a letter
he's there all the time somehow.
