That he owns her
She said he was hers too
That they belong to each other
That did not make sense to me
They said I wouldn't understand
What they have is theirs
What I have is mine
Mine alone. Theirs together.
I don't think I would ever understand
How this thing works right now
But they said I will, in time
I don't know, but I don't think so
