Call me by your name
If I call you on a stormy night
Will you pick up
The rain is pouring
My heart is torn
Is this the way to be apart
The movies we watched
Memories we shared
The moments when we cared for each other
All of this washed into an endless ocean
Or we just forgot that those emotions existed
Are we really that alone?
To forgive and forget seems hard
But the words can't be saved
The punches can't be pulled
I'll keep my distance
There's a way to know that you're gone
I call inside in my heart
The emptiness calls out to me
My own name
Reverberates
