There's beauty in the grey sky
as if it's telling us it's okay to be depressed
it's okay not to be okay
the world, your world will be as it should, as it will
and as it needs to be as you'll survive
just because it's grey outside doesn't mean your soul must die
one day the sun will shine again
and without your soul, you will not feel its kiss on your skin
weary days come and pass
you reach out to friends - to people who care
to share the emotion you so profoundly feel
and you wonder why it seems that everyone's grass seems more green
drip from the sky
water your soul
and you'll be the greenest garden anyone has ever known
