I feel the sun
As it stares down
The cold from winter
It’s not around
And as seasons change
Nothing remains the same

The wind it blows
It brushes my face
Honestly I can finally say
I feel alive today

One question that still comes to mind
Why not slow down, just take some time
Every second that we waste
Is a moment we could have made

You only get one chance
So live it right
Regrets make it hard to sleep at night
And as seasons change
Nothing remains the same

You wonder what this worlds coming too
Ask the kids they look up to you
Soon to look after you

So talk it over
Think it through
Make sure you know
What’s good for you
There are little ears that can hear
They look up to you
Set examples
The standards too
Raise the bar
You know who you are
And as seasons change
Nothing remains the same
