leaving you letters of love
and letters of farewell
I wrote, Beside this river of tears,
I read you this poem in the morning and i cry
i'm not going anywhere,
I'm right here by our lake of joy
We filled, waiting for the sunrise
Darling I'm tired of the blues & lengthy nights
Please shine, shine darling because,
There is no sunrise im thirsty for but yours
Darling ain’t no sunshine that's warm as you
You told me to stay here by the lake
And i cried,
I made a vow to wait for you ‘cause i know you’ll be back
The moon doesn’t mind to go
Darling he knows I will wait until im bones,
You told me you’ll be coming back for me and promised
that we will dance to the night and the fire
All over the letters by the river,

A cold morning breeze greets my face
I open my eyes to a clear sky and green grass
It's not spring its her, coming back for me
You told me that you’re never leaving again and i believed
And i cried, they were tears of joy
‘Cause i could never live without your love darling believe
The river is dry and my letters fly
The blues the moon went away
You asked me to start a fire as the night is near
You held my hands and danced to the tunes of silence and the wind,
I’m not dreaming this time she’s real, and she’s back for me.
Hold my hand and fly me away where the hues are warm and the nights are short,
