Dec 2022
Neptune gems trickle weightlessly down
Banging on glass, pounding shards sharp in my mind
Erratic droplets disperse
Dosed in gelid waters
Our image plummets into the iris of your still blue eyes
Splash hues iridescent
Percolating through my veins
I bleed indigo fire
Farewell shrouds of the sky
Until they cry cerulean again
