Please, treat yourself with more compassion. I know it is difficult to give yourself grace at times, but remember you are a human being. We make mistakes but what is important is how we make amends for those mistakes. Learn to apologize and have some self-reflection afterwards; mindfulness is important. There are times when we wish we were not ourselves and that is okay. I hope one day you wake up feeling proud of yourself and how far you have gone in life. Compassion is difficult to receive but easy to give, isnβt it? Envision the child in yourself and remember what it was that makes up your being. The child is still there, why wouldnβt you treat yourself with compassion?
