Poems
Sep 2013
seasons changing
the day is cold
fall leaves hitting the earth
wind whipping around us as we walk
colors change from green to red, orange, and brown
yellow leaves floating in the river i walk by
the ducks and birds sing their song
i listen to them and sing back
the day is colder
winter snow hitting the ground
snowmen being built by children
roads and walkways shoveled by adults
colors changing with the sun
by scarlet rose
