Tell me the light shines at the end of the tunnel
I will lie here in the darkness, curled and defeated.
Shine a light in the tunnel, I will believe you.
I will fly on desperate wings.
I will run with veins pumping burning venom
Outrun my breath
Strain every muscle fiber in this wretched body
Ignore the searing fire in my throat
Ignore the banging, pounding in my chest
I will believe what was said when I see a light.

Oh, please
Oh, please
Let the light be true!
