I know her name
But not much more
that’s a shame
Because I like her candour
I relate to her
She relates to me
I like her pictures
She likes my poetry
I flirt with her on text
Her replies are teasing at best
I wonder what’s next
Hopefully, she’s impressed
I want to see her up close
But the distance is a bother
She’s become my daily dose
And I don’t want another
I like the way she talks
Her charm is subtle and upbeat
She’s got me in a deadlock
Talking to her feels bittersweet
I know we don’t stand a chance
And I was in danger
This was the circumstance
She is perfect but a near stranger
