GAIN THIS VIRTUE

Passionate you are

But patience you do not seem to possess

You're not willing to accept

My heart, mind, and body

Are not yet ready

If we began it all now

I'm so afraid it will all be premature

Your lack of patience

Is so very immature

The way I see it

I am worth the wait

If we are meant to be, truly

Then we are worth the wait

So stop the clock

And when I am ready

Let it all go and we begin

In time you can see

What He has in store

Right now it seems so far away

But in the right frame of mind and time

So sublime
