Surrender

Please forgive me

I know not what I do

I’m living in a bubble and I can’t see through

Walking in a daze, an ambient haze

That’s so thick that I’ll never really see you

I walk around in a dream, while my life passes me by

I’m filled with fear, it floods my head

And I don’t even know why…

The voices in my head,

They ebb and flow, and startlingly grow

If only I knew how close I was

To the stillness that speaks

To the light that shines and ultimately sublimes

Opens your eyes to the wonders around

And even the sights and sounds

The one word that will change your life

Take you up to new heights

Now always remember,

That word is…

Surrender
