Blessed curse!
Poisonous pleasure!
The pills that none seeks to take
The track that every man had once taken
They said only fools rush in
But as one sec begets another
Follows one man after another
To its dwellings, they troop in
For it's wiser to rush into love
Than to rush into war

They say it doesn't exist
Yet, from it they seek no exit
They call it a dreamy shadow
Yet, they'd love to lay hold of it tomorrow
They say love lies, love dies; and with time, love flies
Yeah! Perhaps, love wasn't meant to last forever
For even lovers don't live forever

Love is our woe, yet our goal
Love is the pill that kills our pain
Love is the pain that kills us men
For love, was everyone once a tool
In love, was every man once a fool
Love is the war of wars
For in it did all warriors die
A fool in love is wiser than the wise at war
Love is the end of wars
