She came in through the window
I wasn’t expecting that
I was looking for someone for a drink or two
But she seems to belong in my flat

We may be quite different but who’d want the same as me
We can’t all be petulant and emotional
I’d rather someone free

She came in through the place I thought was closed
Closed because of all the things that have gone before
But she found the door ajar
And seems to fit right in

She came in through the window
I wasn’t expecting that
But now the window is always open
And I hope she comes and goes

She came in thorough the window
And sits like a flower
Each day a new shape appears
She came in through the window
more of a song lyric
