The Rock

driving down the road free

across the way a rock i see

this rock mocking me

the rock i see mock mock mocking me

this can not be

this rock i see is mock mock mocking me

i've hopped on rocks before such as these

i've been on top and felt the breeze

eye to eye and toes to feet

i challenge the rock to challenge me

i can not stop this has to be

no more rocks mocking me and no more chains rocking me

here on top it comes to me

i am apart of all i see

clocks, rocks let it be

the rock i climb was never there

has never mocked and has never cared

for once a top the rock it comes to me

breathing the rare air and i mock the rock

and shock my soul into remission
